Waiata and karakia

Waimairi School recognises Mana Whenua - Ngāi Tahu.

We are grateful to the Education Committee of Ngāi Tūāhuriri at Tuahiwi Marae for their on-going instruction, guidance and advice as Mana Whenua.

The development of language, programmes, contexts for learning, signage, landscaping and building developments at Waimairi School are all informed and guided by an extensive cultural narrative document gifted to us by Ngāi Tahu.
